V. Anandkumar (VAK) has more than 16 years of experience in the IT/ BPO /Telecom sectors in India and the US in diverse areas spanning Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, Corporate Branding , Program Management, Business Integration , Recruitment and Training . He has been one of the early proponents of employee branding and has rolled out mass employee connect programmes. Change, Innovation and Applied Marketing are key ingredients across his diverse career.

During his initial career at Wipro, VAK was part of the startup team at the newly formed JV Wipro Acer. As the Corporate Brand Manager he was closely involved in steering Wipro's Brand re-engineering program in 1998. During his stint in the US he started the Austin office and helped Wipro's telecom business in Midwest grow rapidly. In 2002 he came back to India and joined Sun Microsystems as General Manager - Telecom, and grew the business by five times. He came back to Wipro in 2005 as VP People Supply Chain and set up a high performance scalable engine for recruitment and training.

He is currently a Principal with Heidrick & Struggles in the Technology & Business Consulting practise at Bangalore

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College Surat
